In Darkness (in Polish , W ciemności ) is a 2011 film by director Agnieszka Holland 1 based on real events.

The story of Leopold Socha , during the Ghetto of Lviv that hid in the sewers of the city about twenty Jews. Dedicated to Marek Edelman , 2 is a Polish-Canadian co-production with script by David F. Shamoon 3 based on Robert Marshall’s In the Sewers of Lvov (1990) and later confirmed by Krystyna Chiger’s memoirs, The Girl in the Green Sweater: A Life in Holocaust’s Shadow (2008) 4
