Karl Ernst Rahtgens (August 27, 1908 , Lübeck - August 30, 1944 , Plötzensee Prison ) was a German officer and member of the resistance against Hitlerinvolved in the July 20 plot .
Married to Johanna Helene Rahtgens, born von Cramon, his uncle was General Günther von Kluge . One of the 300 involved in the attack to end Hitler was arrested in Belgrade and sentenced on July 30, 1944 by the Volksgerichtshof to die on the hanging of the Plötzensee Prison in Berlin.
His wife wrote a book about events. 1
