Wilhelm zur Nieden ( Fröndenberg , Ruhr area , 29 as August as 1878 - Berlin , 23 April as as 1945 ) was an opponent of the regime Nazi .
He was the son of the evangelical pastor Adolf Theodor Karl zur Nieden, studied at the University of Hannover .
From 1927 to 1933 he worked in Leipzig until the rise of National Socialism .
In contact with Carl Friedrich Goerdeler participated actively in the failed plot of 20 of July of 1944.
He was arrested and taken to the People’s Court where he was tried and sentenced to death by Roland Freisler .
He was executed along with Klaus Bonhoeffer , Rüdiger Schleicher , Wilhelm Staehle and the dissident Friedrich Justus Perels by a Sonderkommando two weeks before the liberation of Berlin .
